“International Conference on Pediatric Dentistry and Pediatrics”

The International Conference on Pediatric Dentistry and Pediatrics with the theme of “HAPPY SMILES FOR TOMORROW” was successfully held by the Department of Pediatric and Preventive Dentistry and the Department of Pediatric Medicine of Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences. The conference was from September 30th to October 1st, from 08:00 to 18:00 at the Kempinski Hotel Khan Palace.

 

The opening remarks were delivered by PhD, Associate professor Bilegtsaikhan.Ts, former president of the Association of International Pediatric Dentists and organizer of the Pediatric Dental Clinic in Sydney Eduardo A.Alcaino, Associate Professor of the Harvard Medical School Keira Park Mason, and director of the School of Dentistry, PhD, Associate Professor Batbayar.B. Invited guests included Doctor Eduardo A.Alcaino, Associate Professor Keira Park Mason, Professor M Ali Darendeliler, Professor Nigel King, Associate Professor Ronald W.Kosinski, Doctor Naveen K.V Loganathan, Doctor Joana Monteiro, Doctor Annabel Jane Butt, Doctor Justin Lee, Doctor Yosuke Kakizaki, Associate Professor Bilegtsaikhan.Ts, Associate Professor Batbayar.B, Honorary Dentist Professor Munguntsetseg.L, Professor Oyuntsetseg.B, Associate Professor Urjinlkham.J, Associate Professor Sapaar.B, Associate Professor Bayarchimeg.B, Clinical Professor Munkh-Od.B, PhD Tselmeg.B, PhD Ayanga.G, PhD Davaakhuu.Sh, PhD Od.B, MMsc Bilguun.E, and MMsc Nomin.G.

Professors and dentists from Australia, the United Kingdom, the USA, Japan, Russia, South Korea and Hong Kong were invited and shared their respective knowledge with the participants through lectures and workshops. Also, dentists from 21 aimags were invited as a part of the conference’s social responsibility.
