Since the foundation of our Dental Faculty was laid in 1961, it has continuously developed following global trends and the demands of human society. It has been successfully working to determine the development of the health sector in Mongolia and to prepare national dental human resources with high quality. In 2001, by order of Lkhagvasuren Ts, the president of MNUMS, an independent, university-based School of Dentistry, was established in the expansion of dental departments.
 The most important indicator of the university system is showing a world-class Central Dental Hospital under the School of Dentistry. Our School of Dentistry's commitment to clinical education is unique. It provides a comprehensive integration of training-research-clinical activities for students. The core of operations remains patient care and education; we have a highly effective and focused research program creating new knowledge of dental fields and overall health. As a result, training future skilled personnel continues to be successful by training students under the guidance of highly qualified professors in an environment equipped with modern medical equipment.
  The School of Dentistry has seven departments, one training-research institute, and more than 30 staff and teachers, 94% of the faculty staff have the title Ph.D. They have studied in Japan, South Korea, the Republic of Korea, Hungary, Germany, the USA, and Taiwan. Some prominent faculty staff and researchers have graduated and elevated the current image of Mongolia's Dentistry field and defined policy decisions. Our dental school is currently studying more than 1,000 post and graduate students in 7 areas, and our school has a strong team that values world-class teaching methods and strengthens foreign relations.
